Our Vision Project is a holistic mentorship program for Transitional Age Youth in Marin City.
The purpose of the program is to empower its participants through positive non-parental adult relationships, grounded in a strengths-based approach and advocacy framework.
Mentors and mentees meet weekly one-on-one for at least 2 hours/week, participate in monthly community-building events & skill development workshops, and create tailored Individual Development Plans (IDP) for goal setting.
As a part of the this program, we have built a TAY Center at First Missionary Baptist Church, a local faith-based organization in Marin City. It is open 7 hours a day, 5 days a week.
All participants have access to this safe space for essential supplies (food, toilets), TV/computer lab, games, lounge areas, technology charging stations, and more.
