Southern Marin Community

Substance Use Prevention Coalition

In partnership with Marin County Public Health, MCCT leads a 20-member community-based coalition in Southern Marin to identify and address local substance use issues. The goals of this coalition are ultimately to:

  • Reduce underage alcohol use

  • Reduce underage marijuana use

  • Reduce prescription drug (including opioids) misuse, particularly among youth and young adults

All issues and strategies developed in this coalition will be culturally relevant and community specific.

Want to become a part of this coalition? Email our Community Coalitions Manager, Ayana Morgan, at ayana@marincountycooperationteam.org.
